My main interest is how prior information shapes the perception of the world, how context can bias our reality from the most basic to more complex representations. I’m a physicist with masters in Bayesian methods for source localization in M/EEG, and currently a PhD student under the topic of how consciousness interacts with context (previous experience, expectations). More specifically how these two factors can influence and bias our decisions and perception in simple tasks. I think that the LASchool will be a great opportunity to discuss these topics with educators and neuroscientists, and to think how they could be translated and applied to education, specially in the context of Latin America.
